Ride along the Milan-Sanremo or take the Ponente Ligure Cycle Path, which with its 24 km ranks asthe longest in Europe and offers you a fabulous view of the sea. A historical route, which followsthe old railway line, where the old stations have been converted into a refreshment point and bicycle, roller, rickshaw rental…. Not to be missed!

If you prefer mountain biking or trekking, in the Riviera dei Fioriyou will find many routes for all abilities, with breath-taking climbs and descents, splendid views and the sea as a suggestive backdrop. Do not miss the Sentiero degli Alpini for a nice walk in the hills, theBike Park of the Dianese Gulf, which develops in the immediate hinterland, in the area between Diano Marina and Cervo, and the famous “jump into the blue”, a springboardthat offers the unique feeling of flying directly over the sea!

Beaches and water sports

The Ligurian Sea is a spectacular place that offers you a unique panorama made up of green coastal hills, coasts, crystal clear sea, golden beaches and dark rocks overlooking the water. Here you can practise various sports such as swimming, diving, windsurfing, SUP, canoeing or sailing boat trips.We recommend a visit to the statue of the “Stella Maris” Madonna and, for the more enterprising, adive with a visit to the wreck of a famous war plane.

Discovering the hinterland and the most beautiful cities

Now if you turn your back to the sea and look towards the hills, you will discover a wonderful territory: beautiful towns and villages, rich in history and traditions. Among the many, we recommend Dolceacqua, near the French border, famous for its castle and its Roman bridge, and Apricale, which must be visited on foot. If you are not afraid you can visit Triora, the undisputed kingdom of witches; also particularly fascinating are Bussana Vecchia, Valloria, Cervo Ligure and Diano Castello are. And don’t forget the nearby towns Sanremo, Ventimiglia and Imperia!
